Cherry Cinnamon Muffins
Dried cherries are rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. They offer numerous health benefits, including improved heart health, reduced inflammation, and enhanced immune function.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs biscuit mix
- 2½ cups coconut milk
- 4 oz molasses
- 2 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp almond extract
- 1 cup dried cherries
- 1 pinch salt
- powdered sugar, as needed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F
- Grease muffin tin and line with muffin liners.
- Place biscuit mix in large bowl and make a well in thecenter.
- Pour milk, molasses, vanilla, cinnamon, almond andsalt into the well.
- Whisk ingredients together.
- Fold in the dried cherries.
- Fill the muffin liners with batter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Sprinkle powdered sugar over top.
