UNTIL THERE'S A CURE, THERE'S KEMPER HOUSE
Each new staff person is trained one-on-one, working side by side with a staff trainer who works in the same position as the new employee. This style of training is personal and effective; it not only integrates the new staff person into the Kemper team, it also provides hands-on experience to caring the Kemper Way. On-going staff training is delivered in a creative and fun environment that keeps staff energized, educated, and excited about the work we do at Kemper House.
Kemper House is a recognized leader in Alzheimer's and Dementia Care. All employees receive dementia specific training upon employment at Kemper House, and on an ongoing basis. Individual staff members receive a minimum of four hours in dementia specific training annually in order to enhance their knowledge and skills in caring for those with memory loss.
