Superfood Hot Chocolate
Rich in antioxidants, this sweet treat keeps your brain healthy, protects you from inflammation and gives your brain long-lasting energy for clarity and speed.
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder unsweetened
- ½ tsp cinnamon ground
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 pint coconut milk
- ¼ tsp turmeric ground
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
Add coconut (may substitute almond or hemp) milk to a medium saucepan and bring to a boil.
Lower to a simmer and stir in cocoa powder.
Stir in turmeric and cinnamon, continuing to stir.
Stir in honey until well combined.
Add coconut oil and whip until melted and mixture is warm. Serve immediately.
